The Brine Release (塩遁, Enton) is a rare special ability. Users able to utilize this Kekkei Genkai can summon the salt layers below the earth and moistens them with their water nature. Likewise holders of this technique utilise the yin nature to give consistency to the mixture between water and salt. Brine Release's users are restricted to use only as much salt as they can humidify unless they carry with some portion of brine. Due to the large concentration of brine that can be summoned and the amount of water present in the mixture, brine protections are able to avoid explosions and even neutralize attacks of Explosion Release's users.
